ARCHWAYS INSTAGRAM POST

Upcoming Indie band Archways from London asked me to help them to celebrate their first year as a band with a social media post for Instagram showing their journey from the beginning up until the end of 2022. 

One of the band members Blake gave me his ideas and the proposals for me to work with. The main suggestion was the idea of having Polaroids to capture each gig and momentous occasion the band has gone through on their amazing and rapid journey from the beginning.

The first design was trying out layouts and what photos looked best in what order. The band wanted the best quality photos and wanted text under each photo. This would be the date and location of each gig.

In the end we decided to simplify the design and have more space filled at the same time with Polaroids and a particular style of font. I went with blue as I thought it would be a contrast on the white background. The second image is the final result and we were all really happy with the outcome. The feedback was positive as the band were pleased that it shows the image that they want going forward and we hope to collaborate on work in the future.
